The Consular Section of the Embassy of Angola in the UK has the authority to accept visa applications for all citizens legally residing in the United Kingdom of Great Britain (England, Scotland, Northern Ireland and Wales) and Ireland.

Short-Term Visa is mainly issued for offshore workers related to the oil sector or sailors joining ships docked in Angolan ports but with verified authorisation (inivitation letter stamped by the business related Ministry). Can be requested for urgent reasons.
Tourist Visa is issued for purposes of tourism, leisure, sport, cultural activities.
Transit Visa is issued if you need to stop over in Angola.
Work Visa is issued for temporary authorised employment.
Residence Permit Visa is issued to establish residency in Angola (mainly spouse of an Angolan national).
Temporary Stay Visa is issued for humanitarian reasons, missions for a religious institutions, scientific research, companion/family member of the holder of another visa, etc.
Privileged Visa is issued is a person is going to invest into Angolan economy.
Student Visa is issued to enroll into educational programs in primary/secondary public of private schools or vocational schools or studies for obtaining an academic degree, to take an internship in public of private companies.
Visa for Medical Treatment is issued if somebody needs to undergo medical treatment in a public of private medical unit.
