The purposes of the Employment Visa
Before starting the Indian employment visa application, you need to know the purpose of the employment visa application we will be submitting for you. These are:

Filling the Application Form
Once you know the purpose of your employment visa application, it is now time to start filling the application form. You can of course fill it by yourself, but VisaWorld.ie can also do it on your behalf if you wish to make sure it is properly and carefully filled in.
The Application Process
Once the form is completed, and in order to start the application process, you will need to provide VisaWorld.ie with some documents.
The basic documents are:
- your passport,
- one passport-size photograph,
- a copy of the completed form (if you filled it in by yourself)
And according to the purpose of your employment visa application, other documents might be:
- a proof of employment,
- a letter of offer of employment from the Indian company
- a copy of registration certificate of the Indian company
- a documentary proof of educational qualifications and professional expertise.
This is a non-exhaustive list: other documents might be required during the process, and VisaWorld.ie will kindly notify you if any other document is missing.
Once in possession of all the required documents, and after carefully checking them, VisaWorld.ie will take care of submitting them to the Indian Embassy. The processing time usually takes between 5 and 15 working days. VisaWorld.ie will retrieve your passport from the Indian Embassy afterwards.
Appointment for Fingerprints
According to the purpose of your visa application, the Indian Embassy may require you to be physically present in order to take your fingerprints. If this is the case, VisaWorld.ie can kindly assist you in arranging an appointment.
Collecting your passport
Once we have got your passport back, it will be ready for collection. You can either directly collect it in our Dublin office, or we can send it to you via DHL postage (shipping fees apply).
